This post is more to prove that I'm alive than anything actually related to development on account of the fact that we haven't really started yet. So with that in mind, I should probably explain who I am and what I do. I'm Kelly Harper; I'm a 3D artist. It is my mission to make awesome. It's my job to make things look pretty, or at least that's the general role I've fallen into on every project thus far. I'm familiar with and have a firm grasp on the entire production pipeline, but my forte lies in modeling and level design.Previously, in game dev I, I worked on a game called Fat Knight. Mostly as the environment artist, but really just filling in where needed. In game dev II, I worked on a game called National Photographic.
Again, filling in where needed, which turned out to be some modeling, unwrapping all the UV's doing some textures, and making an awesome dynamic sky system. Toward the end of the semester our team discovered that our level designer had, well, failed. So I stepped up to do it since, 1) that's what I wanted to do from the start and 2) I'm good at level design. And in that weekend, I made the entire environment.
Over the summer, the core group of us that had worked on fat knight reunited to work on it again. For me, that meant a total visual overhaul. New environment, new characters, new ui; the works. And that brings us to now.
