Presentations
So here I am, waiting for class to start, in an hour. I got here an hour and a half early because, first, I forgot I set my alarm back an hour, and second I didn't want to be late. I must admit I'm a tad nervous. Today we present to the industry panel. Last week was our dry run. I think we've got a good shot despite the major setbacks we had. We didn't get our physics engine 100% done, and we cant present our unity prototype. But then again, nobody else's prototypes are entirely there, as of last week, either. I had expected much stiffer competition. So over the weekend I revamped our presentation in addition to working on a couple of my old pieces to add them to my portfolio, as an internship opportunity just came up at EA salt lake, and I wanted to apply to that. Also, I had to actually set up a portfolio. I'm kind of a private person, and as such, I don't like posting my work on the internet. But seeing as that's not a very good philosophy for getting a job, I'd best just do it and see what happens. I'm optimistic about landing the internship, but again, nervous. Not a good week for stress.
